Security levels

Safeberg highly values the safety of your files. Safeberg has created three different safety levels for your convenience

• Standard security: your private key will be generated and send to Safeberg through a secure network. This key will be saved onto our secure servers, accessible only with your standard password.
• Extra security: before your private key is sent to Safeberg, you choose an extra password, with a lenght of your choice; your private key will be encrypted with your additional password and be send to Safeberg through a secured network and is saved on a secure server. Here, 2 passwords are required to acces your files.
• Ultimate security: your private key remains offline and will not be sent to Safeberg. You print your key on paper or save it on a memory stick.

Please note: if you choose extra or ultimate security and you loose your password or key, you cannot restore your data. Guaranteed.
